
The Ghana Police Service has arrested 41 suspects following a series of targeted, intelligence-led operations across several communities in the Eastern Region.
The arrests were carried out in Nkwatia, Nkawkaw, Kwahu Tafo, Saafi, Trado, Kotoso, Effiduase, Nteso, Somanya, Krobo Odumase and Juaben as part of intensified efforts to curb crime and enhance public safety.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Monday, December 22, 2025, the Police said the coordinated exercise focused on identified crime-prone areas and locations linked to suspected criminal activities.
According to the Police, the suspects are believed to be involved in various unlawful acts and are currently assisting with ongoing investigations.
The Ghana Police Service reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order across the country and urged the public to support security agencies by volunteering credible information to help prevent and combat crime.
