The Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations has directed religious leaders nationwide to officially present any prophecy or spiritual revelation of national importance for immediate review.
In a statement on Sunday, August 10, 2025, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, the Presidential Envoy, explained that the directive focuses on prophecies concerning high-profile political figures, governance, national security, or public stability.
According to the statement, the move seeks to promote responsibility, discernment, and proper guidance in safeguarding the nation’s future, particularly during these uncertain times.
It also called for fervent prayers for the President, government, state institutions, bereaved families, and the country at large, in light of a recent tragic accident involving government officials, military personnel, and NDC party members.
The statement reaffirmed the government’s commitment to collaborating with faith leaders to maintain peace and foster Ghana’s development.
