Isabella Etornam Gagblezu, representing the Volta Region, has been crowned winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) 2025, taking home the prestigious crown, cash prize, car, and bragging rights.

The 30-year-old beauty queen captured the hearts of Ghanaians with her exceptional performances, eloquence, and a powerful response during the final Q&A session. Her impressive votes from supporters in the Volta Region also secured her the edge over her competitors Asakia, Sika, Nana, and Adjorkor.

Born in Yeji, Etornam’s early life was filled with adversity. Growing up in a broken home, she endured abuse, stigmatisation, and the hardships of street life, at one point working as a hawker and a “trotro mate” to survive. Despite these challenges, she persevered, excelling academically and gaining admission to Adidome Senior High School. She later furthered her studies at the Oxford Institute of Business and Journalism in Kumasi, where she developed her professional and communication skills.

Etornam’s journey on GMB 2025 was remarkable. She won the Star Performer and Best Costume awards during the semi-final stage, mirroring the achievements of Makafui (2024) and Selorm (2023). Overall, she earned six awards and twelve nominations, making her the most decorated contestant of the season.

Her victory marks the third win for the Volta Region, following Emefa (2012) and Selorm (2023).

Asakia from the Upper East Region emerged as the first runner-up, with Ashanti Region’s Sika placing second runner-up. Nana and Adjorkor claimed the third and fourth runner-up spots respectively.

With her new crown, Etornam plans to champion her Early Child Education Project, an initiative aimed at ensuring every child in Ghana has access to quality education, regardless of their background or location.
