In a recent address, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to rejuvenating Ghana’s prosperity. Emphasizing their diligent efforts, he highlighted ongoing policies and initiatives as pivotal to steering the nation’s economy towards stability.
During the Valedictory Service for the outgoing Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, President Akufo-Addo expressed optimism in fulfilling this promise before the end of his tenure. He underscored the government’s determination to resurrect the economy to its former robust state, akin to the notable growth observed pre-COVID-19.
“I want to assure you that the Akufo-Addo government is diligently working to restore the economy to the remarkable growth rate witnessed before the global pandemic outbreak in 2020. We can achieve this objective through unity, faith, and a firm belief that, by the grace of Almighty God, Ghana’s fortunes under my presidency will flourish once again,” President Akufo-Addo articulated.
Acknowledging the challenging times, the President highlighted the necessity of making tough decisions to address obstacles. He stressed that the implemented policies and programs aim to tackle these challenges, evident in their positive impact. Furthermore, he appealed for continued understanding and active collaboration from all citizens to navigate towards collective success.
