Three individuals have been remanded by the Kwadaso Circuit Court for allegedly assaulting firefighters during a fire incident at Kumasi’s Racecourse Market. The accused, identified as Solomon Anaba (18), Akongoli Adoko (18), and Lamamia Ishmael (21), all laborers, faced charges of conspiring to assault a public officer and assaulting a public officer. Their pleas were not accepted during the court proceedings.

ASP Jonas Newlove Adjei, the prosecutor, requested the court to keep the accused in police custody for further investigations, arguing that as squatters, they might interfere with the ongoing inquiries if granted bail.
