Six Injured in Accident Near KNUST Police Station

Six individuals, including three women, sustained injuries in a road accident near the KNUST police station in Kumasi, Ashanti Region. The incident occurred on Christmas Day, December 25, involving a truck and a Range Rover.

The truck, loaded with tomatoes from Burkina Faso and headed to Nkawkaw, collided with the Range Rover, which reportedly veered onto the main road from the KNUST campus side. The accident happened as the truck approached from the Oforikrom direction.

Following the collision, the truck, bearing registration number AS 9903-15, veered off the road and ended up in a ditch just past the traffic light near the police station.

Emergency responders quickly transported the injured victims to nearby medical facilities for treatment. The authorities are investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the accident.
