The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect, Kwesi Bik Nelson, in connection with an attempted murder case following a stabbing incident on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Mangol, a village near Yunyoo in the North East Region.
According to preliminary investigations, the suspect stabbed the victim with a dagger during a confrontation, causing serious injuries to the head and stomach.
The victim was rushed to the Baptist Medical Centre (BMC) in Nalerigu and is currently receiving medical treatment.
Kwesi Bik Nelson is in police custody, assisting with investigations, and will be arraigned before court soon.
