OA Transport Bus Catches Fire Near Nsawam

A passenger bus from OA Transport Services, traveling from Accra to Techiman, unexpectedly caught fire near Nsawam on the Accra-Kumasi highway late Sunday night. The bus, which departed Accra around 9 p.m., had numerous passengers on board, all of whom successfully evacuated with no reported injuries.

In response to the incident, OA Transport Services provided an alternative vehicle to transport the stranded passengers to Techiman. Despite this, many passengers expressed frustration over the company’s response, especially concerning communication and assistance for potential personal losses in the fire.
