"I Wanted To Look Good For My Family" - Kisa Gbekle Reveals Why She Went Under The Knife

Ghanaian actress Kisa Gbekle has reacted to criticism she received on social media following an interview she granted media personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso.

While speaking in an interview with YEN.com.gh, monitored by GhArticles.com Kisa Gbekle stated categorically that her comments were taken out of context and did not have any literal implication.

The actress while speaking to Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, indicated that 2022 was going to be her “ashawo season”

According to her, the “ashawo season” was not a literal answer but something she said following its trend ever since Ghanaian musician Kwesi Arthur first said it in an interview.

Kisa Gbekle said her rather harmless reply which was a joke had attracted unmerited backlash and criticism her way.

“I didn’t really mean that ashawo season. I actually felt bad how the thing was taken out of context”, the actress told YEN.com.gh

“The question Delay asked, I just answered with Kwesi Authur’s latest song,” the actress added. She added that she was a very responsible lady and would never go about sleeping with men.

Speaking about her relationship life, she told YEN.com.gh that she had been single for two years and was not desperate to find a man.

“I don’t even want any man. I have been single for almost 2 years. I lived without a man. What difference will a man even make now ?” Kisa quizzed.

Reacting to the fact that she received a lot of messages on social media, Kisa indicated that it was not a new thing.

“My dm [direct message] has been popping long ago before I even did my tummy recently. I didn’t do my body cus of a man actually,” Kisa Gbekle noted.

Black Sherif Is A One-way Artiste - Blakk Rasta

One of Ghana’s highly opinionated radio presenters, Blakk Rasta has given his verdict on fast-rising rapper Black Sherif.

Black Sherif broke into the limelight with his Second Sermon song which got a lot of recognition from all over the world.

The song earned him a collaboration with Grammy Award winner Burna Boy to record the remix.

He went to carry the Ghanaian fast-rising rapper along with him during his music tour last year.

Currently, his Kwaku The Traveller has garnered a lot of attention topping most music charts around the world.

Speaking to Nana Tuffour and Frema Adunyame on Citi TV show “Upside Down, the highly opinionated broadcaster without mincing words posited that the Kwaku The Traveller is a lucky musician who has a certain grace in his life.

According to him, a lot of people have made songs which are more popular than Kwaku The Traveller but Black Sherif is a lucky guy.

He further advised the young rapper to learn from the mistakes of other musicians in the industry and move on.

Blakk Rasta added that the Second Sermon hitmaker’s two songs he has listened to are so similar.

” I have listened to two of his songs and I think that they are so similar.  Similarity is not one way but if he is not careful he will be a one-way artiste,” the former Zylofon presenter remarked.
