Bawumia is Not Solely Responsible for Ghana’s Economic Woes – Nana Akomea

Nana Akomea, the Vice Chairman of the ‘Bawumia 2024 Campaign Team,’ has vehemently opposed claims suggesting that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia bears exclusive responsibility for Ghana’s current economic challenges.

Amidst allegations from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) holding Vice President Bawumia accountable for the nation’s economic hardships, Akomea criticized such accusations during an interview on Citi TV’s Face to Face program.

In his remarks, Akomea rebuked the NDC for insinuating that Vice President Bawumia had betrayed President Akufo-Addo and distanced himself from the economic issues plaguing the country.

Highlighting the intricacies of governance, Akomea underscored the impossibility of separating Bawumia from the government, given his role as the incumbent Vice President. He stressed the principle of collective responsibility in addressing the nation’s economic challenges.
