Christian leaders in the Ashanti Region have gathered to offer prayers for Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate for the upcoming December 7 general elections.
At a special engagement held on November 29, 2024, in Kumasi, over 200 clergy members from all 47 constituencies in the region prayed for Dr. Prempeh, the NPP, and its presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The session focused on seeking divine guidance, blessings, and peace for the elections and the nation.
Dr. Prempeh reaffirmed the NPP’s dedication to fostering collaboration between the government and religious leaders, emphasizing Dr. Bawumia’s vision for inclusivity in governance.
