Obour’s Father Laid To Rest. Information Minister Reacts.

Health authorities in the Ashanti Region are keeping some distance away from the laying in state and burial of Obour’s father who was allegedly tested positive for Covid-19 few months ago.

His father, Nana Boansi Ose Kuffuor who is also the chief for Juaso Oyoko clan was laid in state at the weekend without the knowledge of local authorities which has triggered accusations against them. Many say they have disobeyed the stipulated protocols of the pandemic and need to be brought to book.
His body was transferred to Juaso in the Asante Akyem in the Ashanti Region where he was laid in state and burial rights were performed. The family of the late chief went through a vigil service at his family house at Juaso before he was taken to be buried at the Royal Cemetery in Juaso.
