Sarkodie, D-black & Other Musicians Abroad To Be Brought Back To Ghana.

Multiple award winning rapper, Sarkodie and his family together with D-black and other Ghanaian musicians are stuck in abroad due to the closure of borders resulting from the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. These people can now be relieved because they will soon be brought back to Ghana as a directive from government.

For some months now, the musicians have been making appeals to government to open the borders in order that they can get back home. However, the borders are still closed which is inclusive of the protocols initiated by government to contain the spread of the pandemic.

The situation with these stranded Ghanaian musicians abroad is seen to be very worrying when Tacy Sarkcess, the wife of Sarkodie expressed her frustration over the continous closure of the borders in her recent tweets and pleaded with government to make arrangements for them to get back to the country.

It looks like their plea have been taken into consideration by government as the President revealed that stranded Ghanaians abroad will be brought back to the country through arranged flights. He however stated that the country’s borders remain closed and eased restrictions on public gatherings as well. The president disclosed these in his 10th National address on Covid-19.

His Excellency Nana Addo-Danquah Akuffo-Addo assured to bring stranded Ghanaians home but did not mention the date this exercise will transpire.
