Award winning dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has said that the influx of the Coronavirus has disrupted most of his plans concerning his music career.
As recognized as one of the biggest Ghanaian artistes, he was in a good place to explore the effects of the novel Coronavirus pandemic on Joy News beyond the lockdown Arts Edition.
Artistes who performed during the program included Stonebwoy himsel, Trigmatic, Nigerian musician Preye, Diana Hamilton.
Other celebrities and public figures who were present at the occasion included CEO Of Charter house, Theresa Ayaode, veteran actor David Dontoh, Comedian OB Amponsah .
Stonebwoy revealed that due to the issue of relevance , he continues to put music out there to entertain.
“Like other artistes, I have been trying to put music out there and be relevant. Coronavirus has had an effect on me. It’s my concern. We have to find a way out of this”. He said.
“Now that our bookings are cut down, the way we are making money is through the streaming and the downloading”.
Stonebwoy added that the release of his 15 tracker album Anloga Junction has helped to make him relevant. The album was released on April 14 which features international artistes like Keri Hilson (USA), Diamond Platinumz (Tanzania), Kojo Antwi.
The release of Anloga junction is still making a buzz on all online music platforms.
