The Glitz, Glam and VGMA: Live On Akwaaba Magic DSTV Channel This Weekend

If you like music, then the 22nd Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will be an event you don’t want to miss.

The awards show will be live on the Akwaaba Magic channel on DStv channel, Friday and Saturday, 25th and 26th June each night.

Viewers across the continent can catch the live broadcast of the shows from 8 pm each night. The main ceremony will be preceded by the red-carpet interviews and the Akwaaba Magic/Baajo activation.

Making the announcement the Managing Director of MultiChoice Ghana, Alex Okyere said “we are excited our first live broadcast from location on Akwaaba Magic will be the biggest musical night on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar.” He added, “our mission is to deliver value to our customers by making great local entertainment more accessible leveraging on our technology to deliver the shows that people love into their hands and their living rooms.”

Throwing more light on this special two-day broadcast, Channel Manager of Akwaaba Magic Kennedy Dankyi-Appah said, “Akwaaba Magic will ensure viewers can enjoy the spectacular show planned in real-time on each night with exclusive backstage access, and the Baajo activation”.

The VGMAs will show across Africa on Akwaaba Magic channel 150 on DStv and will be streamed live on the DStv App.
