The legal community mourns the loss of Natasha Lamptey, a revered figure at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). At 42, Lamptey, a prominent lawyer in private practice, passed away on December 5, 2023, succumbing to a battle with cancer.
Having commenced her tenure in 2016 at UPSA, Lamptey served as a lecturer specializing in public international law and immovable property law. Her impact extended beyond UPSA, as she had previously contributed her expertise to Zenith University College and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), enriching the legal faculties of these institutions.
Renowned for her dedication and commitment, Lamptey not only excelled in academia but also served as the patron of UPSA Law School’s mooting society, leaving an indelible mark on aspiring legal minds.
