My Two Year Music Carrer Has Taught Me Great Lessons-Wendy Shay.

Award winning musician Wendy Shay has revealed that her two years in her career has taught her a lot of things as well as made her mature since she came into the limelight.

Speaking in an interview with Dr. Cann on Happy Fm’s Showbiz Xtra, she made these revelations. She disclosed some of the lessons she has learnt which includes how to dress to occasions as well as being emotionally intelligent .

Speaking on the jabs thrown at her because of an outfit she wore to pay a visit to Ex- President John Agyekum Kufuor with her colleagues in 2019, she said that experience thought her how to dress to suit occasions. In her own words she said:

I now know which dress to wear to where”.

Recounting from where she gained the experience on how to be emotionally intelligent, she stated that she once had an interview with MzGee and during the interview she gave an answer which didn’t go down well.

According to her, she began to learn how to be emotionally intelligent from that experience.

The ‘Stevie Wonder’ hitmaker pinpointed certain things in the industry which according to her is unfair and not right. She said:

Most female musicians are always sidelined. For instance during shows, while there are 15 male artistes on th list, you will find only one or two female artistes featuring on the event and that is not fair”.

Also our music is always downloaded free of charge and measures must be put in place to stop that. This prevents us from making financial gains for our hard work”.
