Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian actress and filmmaker has claimed that she is only romantic in film roles and not in real life.
For the past few weeks, Yvonne Nelson has been on a media tour promoting her yet-to-be-released film, “The Men We Love.” The film will premiere at the Silver Bird Cinema on February 14, 2022, at 7 p.m.
In a recent interview with Naa Ashokor on Asaase radio’s Between Hours on February 7th, Yvonne Nelson revealed that she used to be romantic in real life.
“In movies, I’m a romantic.” I used to be like that. In movies, I’m romantic, but in real life, I’m not sure; I’ve lost my module. “Right now, I’m simply there; I don’t give a damn.”
My life makes me very joyful. I don’t need romance to put the cherry on top of my life’s cake. I’m just passing by. If it happens, that’s fine, but I’m not looking, searching, or searching for romance. It makes no difference to me. “On Valentine’s Day, all I want to do is watch my movie,” Yvonne explained.
Yvonne Nelson has a number of films under her belt, including The Price, Single and Married, Single and Married and Complicated, If Tomorrow Never Comes, Heels and Sneakers, Sin City, and The Price.
