First Batch of Ghana Armed Forces Recruits to Begin Training

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced the commencement of training for the first batch of recruits following the completion of its recent nationwide recruitment exercise.

In a press release issued on March 17, 2026, the military revealed that a total of 2,000 recruits have been selected as part of the first batch out of four planned groups.

According to the statement, the selected recruits have been invited to report to their respective selection centres across all 16 regions on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

The recruits are expected to collect their appointment letters and prospectuses ahead of the official start of their training.
