The Western Regional Police Command has arrested a suspect linked to a robbery at a gold buying shop in Mpohor on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Police report that a group of armed men attacked the shop, escaping with an undisclosed amount of money and leaving one person injured.
The suspect in custody is assisting with investigations, while security agencies continue efforts to track down the rest of the gang.
The injured victim is receiving treatment and is said to be in stable condition.
