I Saw Politics In The Team, Good Players Were Benched For Weak Player To Play – Sonnie Badu Speaks On Ghana Loss

Award-winning Gospel singer cum clergyman, Sonnie Badu has reacted to disappointing performance from the Black Stars after they were knocked out of the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon.

Last night, Ghanaians were left in a state of shock after Comoros defeated the Black Stars in a thrilling 3-2 win to go third in Group C while Ghana sank last with only 1 point out of 3 games.

US-based Ghanaian pastor, Sonnie Badu has blasted the players for failing to qualify to the round 16, says they should clap for themselves for bringing shame to the country.

According to him, he claimed he saw politics in the team. He alleged that “Those who could do the job were sitting and those who were weak were allowed to play.”

The interesting part of the thing is that Ghana has the more red cards in tournament.
