Efia Odo Finally Opens Up On Why She Abandoned The #FixTheCountry Protest

Actress and Fix The Country protestor, Efia Odo has finally opened up why she decided to back down on her campaign.

Efia Odo refused to match during the protest.

According to her, her mother had to cry and beg her to value her life over any other thing.

Efia Odo revealed that her life was threatened several times and she was particularly a target, but her mum had to cry and beg her to decline to go for the protest.

Efia Odo had to come to the realisation that Ghana absolutely doesn’t worth dying for and take a step back.

She noted in a Tweet that though she has stopped the campaign, there are things that she can do on her own to help.

My life was threatened on numerous occasions and my mother begged and cried for me to not go. She told me Ghana was not worth dying for but I can in my own way make a change,”

Ghanaian actress and media personality, Efia Odo has formerly actively involved with the Fix The Country protest which was started on social media a few months ago.

The campaign became intense in the manner that the youth got involved to hold the government accountable and demanded a better Ghana.

However, along the lines, some people lost their lives and according to reports others also received threats. Though the Fix The Country protest came off in the long run, but the energy of those campaigners has died.

It actually takes a lot to fight for the black man.
