Afia Schwarzenegger has decided to drag matters with Bishop Dag Heward-Mills over his ‘critical sermon’ which was misinterpreted.
20-years ago, the Founder of the Lighthouse Chapel International preached a sermon on leadership and made some references to the Ashantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
According to the popular televangelist and leader of the Lighthouse Chapel International, Otumfuo’s reign as a king has not impacted positively of the Asante people in terms of development.
The leaked audio recording angered some indigenes of the Ashanti Kingdom, who demanded the man of God apologizes for his demeaning comments against the Asantehene.
“I am deeply saddened that a message I shared at a conference, nearly 20 years ago, has been taken out of its context and circulated by persons who have previously declared that they will maliciously cause our churches in Kumasi to be closed down,” the preacher said in his apology letter.
Dag Heward-Mills admitted in his apology letter that indeed the traditional leader brought development to his people.
According to him, the accomplishments of Otumfuo are “evident and manifest for all to see.”
Afia Schwarzenegger, who hails from the Ashanti region has descended on Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.
The controversial comedienne quizzed the renowned man of God about what his church has done for the people of Ashanti.

According to her, today’s pastors poke their noses into matters which doesn’t concern them instead of focusing on preaching the word of God.
Afia went on to use unprinted words to vent her anger on the leader of Lighthouse Chapel International.
