As Easter approaches, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and flag bearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, recently visited the Echoing Hills Children’s Home in Madina, Greater Accra Region, to spend time with the children and show his support. During his visit, Dr. Bawumia donated assorted food items and drinks to the home as a gesture of love and solidarity.
In a social media post, Dr. Bawumia shared his experience, stating, “I spent time, this morning, with children at the Echoing Hills Children’s Home in Madina, in the Greater Accra Region, as part of the Easter festivities. I presented assorted food items and drinks to the home, and also made a cash donation to support their operational costs.”
Dr. Bawumia’s visit to the children’s home is part of his commitment to giving back to the community and supporting those in need. As he prepares to lead the NPP into the December 2024 general election, Dr. Bawumia faces a tough opposition in the form of John Dramani Mahama, who is leading the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the third time, with the first ending in victory back in 2012 and the last two attempts ending in defeat.
