The past few months has seen massive online protests in Ghana. Using the Hashtag #FixTheCountry , Ghanaians on twitter gained world recognition after major global news outlets covered the story of Ghanaians calling for reforms and reduction in persisting economic pressure. The protest which one started by Kalyjay , a twitter influencer who stirred up his following to join the online campaign . Twene Jonas and notable figures like Kwame Aplus , Kobby Kyei , and Efia Odo also joined the campaign extending the voice of the online pretest even further.

Fast forward July , after several frustrations coupled with court and police injunctions and arrests of leaders , they were finally given the green light to protest. On the 3rd Of August was Founders Day In Ghana but was made a YOUTH DAY as leaders of the campaign took to the street to protest the state of the nation Ghana.
