Upon interrogation, Kwofie identified Francis Armah as the intended recipient. Armah allegedly planned to transport the cocoa via the sea to other countries. He was also arrested later that same night.

The impounded truck is currently at the Central Regional Police Headquarters in Cape Coast, while the suspects remain in custody, assisting with ongoing investigations.

Authorities have confirmed that efforts are underway to track down additional members of the suspected smuggling syndicate.
