Three Arrested for Illegal Possession of Firearm

The Ghana Police Service apprehended three individuals at Ofaakor, near Kasoa in the Central Region, on Sunday, June 2, 2024, for illegal possession of a firearm.

In a statement, the Police detailed that the suspects, Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunnor, Mustapha Mohammed, and Abdul Aziz Musah, were traveling in a Honda CRV saloon car with registration number GX-2044-19 when they were arrested near the EC Office at Ofaakor.

A pump-action gun and four rounds of ammunition were confiscated from the vehicle.

“The suspects are currently aiding the Police in their investigations,” added the Ghana Police Service.
