Thomas Partey Fit for Bournemouth Clash After Missing Black Stars Call-up Due to Injury

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Thomas Partey is fit and available for the team’s Premier League match against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Partey had withdrawn from Ghana’s squad for their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sudan due to medical issues. However, in a press conference, Arteta announced that the midfielder has fully recovered and is ready for action.

“Thomas Partey is fit and ready,” Arteta said, while adding that decisions on Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz would be made soon. Arsenal is aiming to secure a top position in the league as they head to Vitality Stadium.
