The continuous controversies over Mr Drew’s cover song tilted ‘Eat’ has been overwhelming as most social media users are still on him. The song featured award winning dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.

The Dw3 hitmaker have been blasted for some days now when it was noticed that his ‘Eat’ was pulled down by Empire Music due to his failure to obey copyright rules. The song was actually a cover song of Rotimi’s ‘Love Riddim’.

Speaking in a viral video sighted by ghanaarticles.com, the Dw3 hitmaker admonished the public to stop dragging Stonebwoy’s name in the issue and revealed that the dancehall artiste willingly featured his cover song.

I wanna say this. Stonebwoy did his verse, he blessed us with a verse on my cover song, sent it to us, told us to do the right thing by contacting you know the originator of the song and my publisher failed to do that. So please don’t drag Stonebwoy into this.”

If you want to bash me bash me but don’t drag Stonebwoy, don’t drag his management, don’t drag Stonebwoy as a brand and don’t drag Bhimnatives into this.”

Mr. Drew added that he wouldn’t by any reason disrespect Stonebwoy and he isn’t aiming at destroying his reputation as people have speculated.
