NCA To Close Down 49 Unlicensed TV Stations Operating In Ghana {See The Full Lists}

The National Communications Authority (NCA) has released a list of forty-nine (49) television stations that are due for closure in the coming days.

According to the regulatory body, the listed TV stations have been operating without the required authorization, therefore, they have to be closed until the right thing is done.

This exercise forms part of an ongoing monitoring exercise being carried out by the NCA to sanitize the media space.

The exercise is being carried out chiefly by the National Communications Authority (NCA) with help from the Ghana Police Service and National Security Intelligence Operatives.
