For the second time, reggae dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has proven to be one of the best recording and performing artiste in Ghana.
His lead single with American Keri Hilson titled ‘Nominate’ off the chart topping his ‘Anloga Junction’ album made an entry to Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart.
The track eighth off the multiple award winning musician’s fourth studio album moved to the 19th position on the 25 best selling international digital singles chart in the United States of America.
He was also ranked according to stream and sales as well as the popularity of the song in the United States and worldwide. He is the first Ghanaian to make it to the sales chart.
The song which was produced by Andre ‘Dre’ Harris is exceptional from the project with 15 tracks which was released April 14, 2020.
The project was paired with a video directed by Denzel Williams, which follows the American Star and Ghanaian superstar to an auditioning hall where the two musicians played the role of judges as they check samples of models performances who are aspiring to take the crown ‘Miss Worldwide’.
On his ‘Anloga Junction’, Stonebwoy exhibited an ambitious folding with collaborators into his signature sound. In the album includes musicians, both Ghanaians and outside Ghana including Kojo Antwi, Nasty C amongst others.
Stonebwoy released an album three years ago titled ‘Epistles Of Mama’ which was dedicated to his late mother , Mrs. Catherine Ametepe Satekle which featured Burna Boy, King Promise, Sean Paul.
Epistles of Mama moved to the 13th position on the Billboard chart top 200 albums worldwide.
Two years ago(2018), ‘Epistles Of Mama’ was rated the second best album worldwide according to reggaeville which made a hit on YouTube with over ten million views.
