Ghanaian singer Sista Afia has apologized to the General public including Tv3 on the fight she had with Freda Rhymz at the Tv3 premises on Monday, May 18.

The beef between them began when sista Afia released her single titled ‘WMT’ which ignited a lot of controversies among other female musicians receiving counter jabs from Eno Barony and Freda Rhymz.

Before the fight came up between the two, Sista Afia has said on several media platforms that she will beat up Freda Rhymz when she sets her eyes on her.

You see anytime I said those things I was laughing. You know it’s like it’s something that I will never do. I’ve never had a fight with anyone in this industry and I’ve been in the industry for five years. No one has seen me fighting, nothing so it was just me being you know funny”. She said.

Speaking in an interview with MzGee on TV3 New day, Sista Afia apologized to Media General, TV3, her family and the public as a whole.

“I know this looks so bad and I really wanna apologize to my fans, I wanna apologize to my family, I wanna apologize to TV3. I’m really sorry cus this is not me”. She said.

Answering if she wouldn’t apologize to other artistes and Freda, she stated that apologizing to Freda on the platform feels inappropriate but they will meet up and have a conversation.

Well we gonna have a communication yet. If I apologize to Freda here right now I will feel like that’s not the right thing to do. We need to have a one-to-one conversation”.

The ‘weather’ hitmaker admitted her mistakes and also apologized to the security personnel she threatened to slap when the fight was ongoing.
