Seven Vehicles Destroyed in Nsawam–Accra Fuel Tanker Crash

At least seven vehicles have been destroyed following a fuel tanker accident in the early hours of Saturday, February 14, along the Nsawam–Accra highway.

Preliminary reports indicate that a collision involving the tanker triggered a fire, with the impact causing the vehicle to ignite. The blaze quickly spread, engulfing several nearby vehicles.

Thick smoke billowed from the scene, raising alarm among motorists and residents in the area.

Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service were deployed to the scene and are working to contain the fire and prevent further damage.

Although no casualties have been reported so far, emergency responders continue to assess the situation to ensure all affected persons are accounted for.

The incident has led to significant traffic congestion along the busy highway. Motorists have been advised to exercise extreme caution and consider alternative routes as firefighting and recovery efforts continue.
