Police Arrest Two Suspects with 135 Slabs of Narcotics at Amankwakrom

Police in the Eastern North Region have arrested two suspects, Yaw Ntoso and Perpetual Ayitey, for possessing large quantities of narcotic drugs at Amankwakrom on the Agordeke–Donkorkrom road on November 13, 2025.

A snap check team intercepted a Kia Bongo truck driven by Yaw Ntoso. A search revealed three white sacks containing 135 compressed slabs of dried leaves suspected to be cannabis sativa, wrapped in yellowish cellotape, along with 21 oval-shaped parcels of the same substance.

The suspects are in police custody assisting investigations and will be arraigned before court.
