Paul Pogba And Lacotelli Become Latest Players To Snub Euro 2020 Beverage Sponsors After Ronaldo

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba and Manuel Lacotelli have become the latest players to snub Euro 2020 beverage sponsors after Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo at a Euro2020 press conference yesterday pushed off Coca-Cola bottles representing the brand as a sponsor of the tournament.

The gesture which made the beverage company lose over $4billion dollars stock market value has been a worldwide topic in major sports conversations.

Following the action, Paul Pogba, a stunt Muslim also pushed off Heineken , an alcoholic beverage during his interview.

Though many have condemned his actions, reports have it that its a harmless gesture which he had to do as a result of his religious background, he is unable to promote alcoholic beverages since he is not permitted to drink as well.

However, in Italy a similar event occurred.

Italian football hero Manuel Locatelli, became the latest footballer to join Ronaldo’s cause on Wednesday night, after the midfielder copied the Juventus star’s actions before shouting ‘Agua’ in his press conference after helping Italy reach the knockout stages of Euro 2020.
