The (NSA) has directed all National Service Personnel posted to institutions under the (CLOGSAG) to continue reporting to work despite the ongoing strike action declared by the association.
The directive follows the industrial action initiated by CLOGSAG on March 9, 2026, over the government’s failure to improve the conditions of service of its members.
According to the NSA, service personnel are not parties to the strike and are therefore not required to participate in the action.

“The National Service Authority wishes to inform all National Service Personnel currently deployed to institutions under the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana that they are not parties to the ongoing industrial action declared by the association,” the statement said.
The Authority further emphasised that personnel serving in such institutions are expected to continue reporting to their assigned workplaces and carry out their duties as usual.
“Accordingly, all National Service Personnel serving in institutions under CLOGSAG are required to continue reporting to their respective places of posting and carry out their assigned duties as expected,” the statement added.
The NSA also urged service personnel to remain committed to their national responsibility and continue supporting the institutions where they have been posted.
Meanwhile, the had earlier invited both parties to a hearing on March 11, 2026, to address the dispute. However, the leadership of CLOGSAG failed to attend the meeting.

The statement was signed by the Director-General of the NSA, , who also expressed appreciation to National Service Personnel for their cooperation and dedication to national development.
