K. O.D Leaves EIB Network.

Broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko, popularly known in the media as K.O.D has left EIB Network.

K.O.D who has worked with the company for five years almost left the company last year.

He revealed that his wife was pressuring him to leave the company when the company found itself in some financial difficulties.

K.O.D has worked with Radio Gold and was the host of star drive on Star fm in Accra.

Recently in his Facebook post, he announced that he’s taking a break from radio after 24 years.

“After 5 years of EIB, we mutually parted company last Thursday. It’s been five awesome years with an amazing family. From Live Fm my life child as head of events and host of 360 live(I truly enjoyed my days at Live with the youngsters) and later moving to Star to host the Zone & Star Drive. It’s been a fabulous learning curve”.

“I want to say thanks to the EIB family for believing my and the fab times.”

“A break from radio is in order after 24 years.”

From Monday, you can catch me on NINETEEN57 of the Oxford street from 10am”. He added.

“May God bless us all”.
