Leader of New Life Kingdom Chapel International, Stephen Akwasi, had been granted a Gh¢100,000 bail by an Accra Circuit Court.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charge of causing fear and panic. Mr. Akwasi had earlier been remanded for five days after his arrest in connection with Shatta Wale’s hoax shooting.
He is the pastor whose prophecy the dancehall artiste has cited as the reason for his recent fake shooting.
Popularly known as Jesus ‘Ahuofe’, the prophet was seen in a viral video explaining circumstances under which the self-styled Dancehall King would be shot.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has been transferred to the Ankaful Prison where he is to stay for 10 days and await trials.
All efforts by his numerous lawyers to get him out the jail proved futile.
Well, a video has popped up on social media which is spreading like wildfire, captures how the inmates at the Prison welcomed their new colleague, Shatta Wale.
In the viral video seen by GhArticles.com, Shatta Wale who was in the company of some Prison Officers walked to the correctional faculty while the inmates shouted his name and applauded him for joining them.
