John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is set to begin a three-day campaign tour of the Western Region from Monday, November 25, to Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
This visit follows his recent five-day tour of the Eastern Region and forms part of his efforts to rally voter support ahead of the December 7 general elections.
Mahama’s tour will start with a courtesy call on the Western Regional House of Chiefs, where he will honor the region’s traditional leaders. He is also scheduled to meet with prominent religious leaders in the area.
The NDC leader will visit several constituencies, including Wassa East, Shama, Essikadu-Ketan, Sekondi, Effia, Kwesimintsim, and Takoradi. Throughout the tour, he will engage with voters, presenting his vision and appealing for their support.
With less than two weeks until the election, Mahama’s outreach in the Western Region is expected to solidify the NDC’s campaign efforts and connect with constituents on pressing issues.
