Former President John Mahama expressed condolences on the demise of the ex-Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy.

The church confirmed the peaceful passing of Apostle Ntumy in the early hours of Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Acknowledged as a revered religious figure and an inspiring leader, Apostle Dr. Ntumy was unparalleled in his dedication to matters of faith. His contributions to both the church and the wider community were deeply significant.

In a Facebook post, Mahama mourned the late Apostle Ntumy, portraying him as a genuine servant of God. He extended his heartfelt sympathies to the family and the Church of Pentecost, highlighting Apostle Dr. Michael Ntumy’s lifelong commitment to propagating the gospel and fostering church growth. Mahama also emphasized that Apostle Ntumy’s legacy of faith, love, and leadership would remain a source of inspiration for many.

Apostle Ntumy, who served the church between 1998 and 2008, succumbed to a prolonged battle with paralysis on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
