Joana Gyan Cudjoe has announced her decision to contest again for the parliamentary candidacy of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Amenfi Central constituency. This follows the annulment of the May 13, 2023, primary by the party’s Functional Executive Committee.
In a statement released on Thursday, Cudjoe emphasized the importance of unity in rebuilding Amenfi Central, saying, “This rerun gives us a fresh chance to strengthen our constituency and pursue our shared goals of progress and development.”
She reiterated her commitment to advocating for improved education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic opportunities, while also calling for collective support. “We need everyone—youth, women, men, elders, and stakeholders—to work together and overcome the challenges ahead.”
Cudjoe concluded by humbly asking for the trust, prayers, and support of her constituents as she embarks on this renewed journey towards a better future for Amenfi Central.
