As Ghana prepares for the December 7 General Election, National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has declared that he will only accept the results if the electoral process is transparent and credible.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the BBC, Mahama raised concerns about potential irregularities and violence, emphasizing that such actions could undermine the integrity of the elections.
He underscored the importance of a free and fair election, highlighting its significance for the nation’s democracy. Mahama stated that incidents such as ballot snatching, voter intimidation, and violence would make it impossible for him to accept the outcome.
According to him, the fairness and transparency of the process will determine his acceptance of the results.
