Here’s Why Caroline Sampson Was Sacked From YFM.

Award winning radio personality, Caroline Sampson has announced on Friday that her working relationship with Y 107.9 Fm has ended.

Caroline, for a decade have been with the subsidiary of Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company for close to a decade revealed that the company is faced with difficulty in their finances that was why there was a decision to terminate her and not because she wasn’t working hard.

The award winning radio personality disclosed that the financial difficulties of the company is due to the Coronavirus.

“I understand it perfectly,” she said stating that she doesn’t have any grievances against her former boss for her termination.

Speaking on her next move, she said she’s been receiving offers before the news of her termination. She added that she will be critical in terms of choosing the institution to work with because some organizations are faced with financial challenges.

“I have businesses on the side. I’m okay. It’s not that bad. I will still survive because I have other things I’m into.”

She also added that her passion for radio is intense.

Caroline’s working relationship with her former organization was terminated two days after Naa Ashorkor announced publicly about her termination of her working relationship with Joy fm.

Caroline made a post on twitter to announce her departure.

Guys, YFM has been my home for close to a decade now and we’ve had a successful working relationship. Effective immediately, my contract with YFM has ended and I’m no longer their employee. Thank you to YFM and everyone that has supported my carrer over the years. Shalom.”

It was also disclosed that the company is laying off workers because of its difficulty in fulfilling financial obligations to workers.
