Ghana Police Officer Faces Interdiction Over Alleged Assault

In the Takoradi District of the Western Region, General Corporal Wise Bessey, Badge Number 49187, has been interdicted by the Ghana Police Service following accusations of assaulting a civilian.

This interdiction aims to facilitate a comprehensive inquiry into the incident and assess the professional conduct of Corporal Wise Bessey, aligning with Police Service Regulations.

The victim has been contacted by Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, who assured the individual of necessary Police support and a meticulous investigation.
