Ghana Music Awards To Honour Frontline Health Workers With Virtual Concert.

The Novel Coronavirus pandemic has taken away our rights to move about freely as well as restricting us in all social gatherings. This pandemic has captured our normal lives and left us with fear and anxiety. Not only has this virus affected our normal way of living but as well taken the lives of some of our dear ones.

With great leadership and collective efforts every Ghanaian has demonstrated, is what has brought us this far despite the fact that the number of cases have skyrocketed.

One cannot ignore but recognize and appreciate the efforts and bravery of frontline health workers who continue to put their lives on the line to save others. They stand as real heroes and needs to be celebrated.

To honor Frontline health workers, the Ghana Music Awards Foundation have brought up a virtual concert dubbed ‘The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Covid-19 Heroes Concert’.

The virtual concert will come off on Sunday, May 17, 2020. It will be aired live on Tv3 and on social media at 9:30pm to 11pm.

The concert is also meant to inspire hope and support the fund raising effort of the Covid-19 National trust fund. Also, to intensify the ‘Wear A Mask’ Campaign.

According to the PRO of Charterhouse, Robert Klah,

“Music is a force for good and on Sunday, the 17th of May, we would like to use this music to rally a National applause for our frontline health workers. They are our heroes, we doff our hats to them”.

Artistes that will pass through the concert on Sunday includes Joe Mettle, Medikal , Kofi Kinaata and many others.
