The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has officially launched the 2024 recruitment drive for the Regular Career Officer Course and Short Service Commission Officers.
In an announcement regarding the enlistment process at the Ghana Military Academy, GAF made it clear that they do not work with intermediaries and do not charge any fees for recruitment. The public has been urged to report anyone claiming to be an intermediary or demanding payment to assist candidates.
The statement read, “The Ghana Armed Forces further wishes to state that individuals who present themselves as middlemen, intermediaries, or agents demanding payment in order to assist any candidate(s) should be reported to the nearest Military Installation or Police Station. In the same vein, interested applicants who choose to pay monies to purported agents for help are equally culpable in the fraudulent act.”
Applicants are advised to refer to the Daily Graphic of Friday, September 13, 2024, available via Graphicnewsplus.com, for complete details on the enlistment process. GAF also warned against fraudulent recruitment schemes on social media.
Scratch cards for online applications, priced at GH¢350.00, are available at designated Ghana Post offices across the country. The online application portal, which opened on Friday, September 13, is now accessible for interested candidates to apply.
