Asiedu Nketiah Sworn in as Board Chairman of Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has been officially sworn in as the new Board Chairman of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA).

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Wednesday, June 25, and also included Professor Ransford Gyampo, the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Shippers Authority, who was inducted as a member of the newly constituted board.

These appointments form part of broader efforts to reinforce the governance structure of GPHA and ensure strategic oversight in the management and development of Ghana’s port infrastructure.

The new board is tasked with steering policy direction, improving operational efficiency, and supporting infrastructure expansion at the country’s key maritime gateways, including the Tema and Takoradi ports.
