The Ghana electoral commission will be giving the general public, an opportunity for eligible people, who couldn’t register or whose names where deleted from the list, due to one or two reasons, on October 1st, to take part of the voters registration exercise again.
According to the Ghana Supreme Court, anyone who applies to vote with a National health Insurance, should to be deleted from the list , because it’s not a valid proof of identity for voting purposes.
Moreover, news has spread that, many people has been deleted from the voters register list, as the exhibition exercise is ongoing. Citizens has raised accusations against the EC commission,that they are being selective
Well,Free and fair election,is what everyone is wishing fo,r in this year coming election in December,so the Electoral Commission has issued a press release to solve the problem of the names deleted from the List.
According to the press release, the registration exercise is going to take place on Thursday,October 1st,from 7am to 6pm.
We urge each of you, to go and partake in the exercise again, only if your name was deleted from the list or you couldn’t register due to reasons best known to you.
