Adelaide the Seer, the visually impaired Ghanaian singer has revealed that she is no longer under the management of Ghanaian music duo Dope Nation.
According to the twin brothers, Adelaide The Seer is someone who is blessed with so much talent and they will do everything possible within their capabilities to project that talent of the young lady for the whole world to see what she is made of.
But it seems that os yet to be fulfilled as Adelaide has stated the reason why she no longer works with the music duo.
In an interview with GhanaWeb’s Elsie Lamar on Talkertaiment, the 25-year-old singer stated that before their musical journey could start in earnest, she requested some time to attend to her health needs, but the twin brothers were not happy about it.
“It wasn’t really an issue. I had to go on a health break. So considering the break and everything around me, I felt I shouldn’t sign because it was going to come with a lot of responsibilities so I just had to pull out,” she said.
Asked how she initially got in touch with them, Adelaide said;
“Everybody saw me out with them some months ago and this was because they were running a promo; they were giving beats to five up-and-coming artistes and they chose me first; so that is when we did ‘Wire Me’. So after Wire Me, it got interesting and that’s when we did ‘What A God’; and there’s one more song that hasn’t been released.”
When the issues about how her social media pages which were created for her by Dope Nation came up, Adelaide said that she was told that since she couldn’t sign with them, they couldn’t give her the handles.
