Veteran Ghanaian actor William Addo has been reduced to penury as he finds it almost impossible to fend from himself and pay his bills.
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) as a result has disconnected his light and left him in darkness over failure on his part to pay GH¢5,000 bill.
In a solemn interview with Citi News, the now visually-impaired William Addo affectionately known as Akpatse’ of GTV Thursday Theatre fame has relocated to his native hometown Tefle in the Volta Region as he tries to put the pieces of his life back together.
In the interview, Wiliam spoke about his latter-life crisis which includes periodic ailments which have blown away all his savings.
According to him, he has used all his life savings to treat illnesses and to get his deteriorating vision back.
Akpatse intimated that he has gone thrown thick and thin after life as an actor and now, he has to deal with severe challenges which he has no money to solve.
He appealed to the public to look in his direction and just like Psalm Adjetefio, come to his aid as soon as possible.
Speaking about unpaid ECG bills, veteran Ghanaian actor Psalm Adjeteyfio aka TT has come again for another request and this time it’s for his electricity bills.
Speaking in an interview on Citi News Room, TT disclosed that he is currently owing The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) a whooping sum 8000 cedis.
He explained that for a long time, he has not been receiving bills so he didn’t know what he owed.
He added that despite not receiving the monthly bills, he has been paying his own amounts.
GhArticles.com earlier reported that the veteran actor and the Taxi Driver Drama actor came out to cry for help to pay his rent amid eviction.
